(Please note that this programme was first broadcast on Monday 29th June between 8 and 10pm.
Time is tight here at MuhMur HQ meaning that I could not broadcast live on Sunday 5 July. The desk at SoundArt Radio Station is a 'live desk' meaning I could not pre-record the programme for a Sunday broadcast so Chris kindly offered me a couple of hours on the Monday evening. Wanting to be true to the MuhMur Radio schedule Chris broadcasted the programme in its' regular slot 6 - 8pm on July 5).
On the Sunday I usually follow Adrian and his crucial vibes, so I had a listen to the programme I was following on Monday. 'Mark's Musical Meanders', quite an easy pleasant listen, which gave me the idea of tonights broadcast. A meander through my record / CD collection (unfortunately not tapes as the station doesn't have a tape machine at the moment ... if anyone has one to donate and is in the South Hams area of Devon I will happily come and collect ... and then broadcast the new Fistfuck tape!). I combined this with memories of listening to Radcliffe & Maconie on Radio6 when I used to be a working man at Torbay Hospital and enjoying their feature "The Chain" where they would play 3 tracks that were somehow linked. It used to be fun to try and guess the link. So here we have 2 hours of 'linked' tracks ~ some obvious and some not so ... but if you want to have a guess please do. A prize to the first person who gets it right. I will publish the answers by August 2 (the day of the next broadcast).
